$20 is the rate per hour. Cancellation Policy

1. Booking Policy Advance Notice Please schedule all services (babysitting, nannying, housework) at least 24 hours in advance to help us confirm caregiver availability and ensure smooth coordination. Minimum Booking Duration All bookings have a 4‑hour minimum. This standard helps provide meaningful, cost-effective care and reflects practices commonly used by professional nanny and babysitting agencies 2. Cancellation Policy More Than 72 Hours Notice Cancelations made with over 72 hours’ notice incur no fee and the deposit will be refunded. Between 24–48 Hours’ Notice Cancelations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service are subject to a fee equal to the 3‑hour minimum, which corresponds to the deposit already paid at booking plus $20 Late Cancellation Fee. Less Than 3 Hours’ Notice Cancelations made within 3 hours of the start time incur the full value of the booking, or at minimum, the standard hourly block—this charge is at the discretion of the business owner. Overnight or Travel Bookings More than 10 days in advance: 25% of booking fee 3 to 10 days in advance: 50% of booking fee Within 3 days (72 hours): 100% of booking fee 3. Waitlist Policy If the desired date/time is fully booked, you may join our waitlist by submitting your contact details via the online form or emailing chronicallykind@gmail.com No deposit is required to join the waitlist. Waitlist invitations are processed strictly in the order received, and we will contact you promptly if a slot becomes available. 4. Add‑On Service Policy To maintain high-quality care and engagement: Only one add-on service—such as light housework or organizing—is allowed per service visit. Add-on tasks must not exceed the original booked time and should be equal to or less than the total booking duration. Sitters prioritize child-focused engagement, so please hold realistic expectations about how much additional work they can accomplish without compromising attention to the children. 5. Communication Guidelines To ensure timely and clear updates: Please communicate any cancellations or scheduling changes via phone call, text message, or email. Do not use social media, public comments, direct messages, or form submissions on our website for these requests. This approach helps us respond promptly and preserves confidentiality and professionalism.
